Don’t get left without lights, lawn or driveway – here are the important questions you should be asking when looking to build a new home. According to Callaway Homes sales manager Peter Zamojski.

Which Queensland builder should I choose?

It’s important that you choose a trusted builder. A trusted builder in Master Buider’s Springfield Rise display village, Mr Zamojski said knowing exactly what turnkey looked like for your build was imperative.

It’s a maze, there’s just so much involved in building a new home – its important to choose a builder you can trust.

Why ask for fixed-price inclusions?

Example, we supply a certain number of internal & external lights in our homes. Other builders may have a $3000 lighting allowance, meaning the price you’ve been given includes only light points and each individual light is extra. Mr Zamojski said you should walk through the display home with the consultant and ensure everything you’d expect to be in your complete build was included in the price.

Is the turn key price based on allowances?

You want to determine exactly what the turn key price is, does in include an allowance for tiles or is each item a fixed-price inclusion right down to the driveway, the fencing and the landscaping?

Springfield Rise at Spring Mountain is Queensland’s largest display village with 48 homes by 22 licenced Master Builders.
